I am happy and thankful for all those who are in their first marriage and intend to make it their last. Honor should go to Sis. Falla and her family who are great Christian examples.
But, I will say for those of us divorced, some once, some twice, and even some three times - well God is good and merciful. We're still serving God and are happy.

Rhoni,
I agree. I do not view myself as better or more spiritual than any who has gone through a divorce for any reason.
I thank God everyday that through our tough times (My son's illness).
We have found some form of strength from the Lord.
I pray for his mercy and grace everyday.

I understand... but in reading your post, it reminded me of Proverbs where it said that "her children shall call her blessed"
That is what I want to pass on to my children....... a Godly heritage. God bless you!

I feel that way as well. I do know that when one makes it past the 40 year mark. That is a special thing. I praise God for Godly examples.

Hello Stephen, the national average that I refered to was in my mind about 50% of marriages end in divorce. According to http://www.divorcemag.com/statistics/statsWorld.shtml
it shows 45.8% of marriages end in divorce as of 2002. So I guess I am WAY off! So isn't it great that I can google to find a webpage close to my opinion? Haha.
Thanks for welcoming me!
