Not for the sake of this discussion. In order to work toward a resolution that agrees with both the Bible and the moving of the Spirit we have to resolve the question as to when sins are forgiven, i.e. when the blood is applied. In a previous post (#1137) it was stated that the blood was applied at water baptism. If that's the cause bloodless, unforgiven, people are receiving the Holy Ghost...and that's impossible! For one to receive the HOLY Ghost one must be forgiven and the blood applied. If one can receive the Holy Ghost prior to water baptism...the blood is obviously applied prior to water baptism and therefore sins forgiven before water baptism. It is a VERY important question with VERY important implications.
I dont think we will get where you want to be. we arent going to get this "agreed upon" until we reach glory.
sorry friend, the discussion is great. it is a worthy discussion, but it will not result in everyone coming to agreement...unless you fellers decide to agree with the Water Spirit doctrine.
short of that, our agreement should be that regardless of where the blood is applied, everyone should repent, be baptized in Jesus Name and be filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

So you agree that the blood is applied and sins are forgiven at repentance?
If not...when is the blood applied? Do you believe it was at water baptism or do you admit that you don't know?
If you hold that the blood is applied at water baptism...how did I and so many others receive the Holy Ghost prior to water baptism?
When did you receive the Holy Ghost; before or after your water baptism?

Only "should?"
I see no absolute in "should." There is no imperative in should. "Should" soulds like an option is available.
Rigid three steppers leave no such option for anything of divine provisions to be realized...no forgiveness of sin or anything else as far as I can see.
Unlike the rigid three steppers, as I understand the GOSPELS, one may obtain forgiveness of sin by the blood of Jesus without being water washed.
Based on his choice of words, it looks as though someone is about to receive the revelation if he doesn’t fight it.
You arent funny. Where is brother Epley when I need him?
You are not saved if you do not obey the Gospel. When asked what that reqires, Peter whom Jesus gave the keys to, explained what that obedience meant. Anyone who is disobedient to the Gospel is not saved.
