I was wondering too, at first it sound like Peace Peace Wonderful Peace, then it didn't, then part of it sounded like 'Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus". never did figure out what it was. It did sound peaceful whatever the song.

Can't imagine how it feels to a minister sitting there going thru this, after having his wife with him at everything thru all these years. I am sure, as bazarre as it may sound that he is feeling like she should be sitting beside him. God. please comfort this man, at such a time of grief and loss!

It was "What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see and I look upon his face, the one who saved me by his grace. And he'll take me by the hand and lead me to the promised land, what a day, a glorious day that will be."

Me too. but for some reason so many in the young generation of the UPC think that organ music is antiquated and want mostly acoustic guitar. It's not that way in the PAW.

I only wished they would have livened the music up just a bit.All the solos were really great but the entire service was all slow music. If we are also celebrating the departing, the music needs to reflect that.

impressive crowd! must have been a thousand people - that's my guess

You can tell you've been around that black influence - - they party at a funeral.

No,I didn't mean they had to shout and run the isles, but a little bit of "I'll fly away" or when we all get to heaven" would have been a nice balance.

Sounds like they may have been trying to match the music to her personality. Seems like she might have been a quiet peaceful person.

I love the song "When We All Get To Heaven" for a funeral. It gives a break to the heaviness everyone feels.
