Well, you have been around here a while so you might not understand my approach. I have participated on forums since Jim Yohe started Faithchild. These places try to eat up and spit out people who see things differently. I have seen people insult men of great character on these forums that they would never have talked to that way publicly. So if I come across somewhat defensive, that's the reason.

I sincerely apologize if my demeanor is offensive. I don't spend countless hours on the Internet forums, but I have a little down time right now and then I'll be gone again for months.

I have seen people with absolutely horrible attitudes, posting vitriol, hate, and contempt for months until being banned. Have I really said anything that offensive?

(I have been baptized in Jesus name).

Being baptized in Jesus name is not all you must do in order to be saved, but someone has not been baptized in Jesus name then they are not saved.

Who is the preacher from Booneville that turned in his license, Joshlin or Teddlie?
Joshlin the senior pastor and his son the pastor! Another guy named trusclair or something like that. Dont know if the spelling is right.

You can't think about MS UPC without thinking about Borat. The district that had a big uproar a few years ago by putting up projectors in the tabernacle.

I dont think MS will lose that many churches. I am hearing that one or two prominent guys who people think will leave have decided not too.

I am amazed that Res 4 would be that big for them, but anyway...I grew up with Matthew.

As far as those who will leave, I am just praying that people get their focus back on Jesus and off the political agenda of some guys that wouldn't be holding a meeting before the end of the month if they would have won the DS election in their districts.

Its all politics and ego. Most of the leaders has recently been voted out of an office or had a failed attempt to get elected. Dont know if I want to follow guys whose peers have failed to place in leadership positions. Makes one wonder about the quality of leadership in this rebellion.

Sorry folks... I know many (if not most) of the men involved in the Tulsa thing and can tell you that I don't buy the whole "they didn't get an office so they are leaving" theory. Too many of them have turned down 'political' offices for that to be their reasoning.

Some? Perhaps. But to think everyone of prominence leaving is leaving for that reason? Absolutely no way. One of the key figures - from Mississippi no less - told me to my face that he would NOT take an office his name was being pushed for and that was BEFORE the vote on Resolution 4.

It's an accusation cast about freely but, alas, like most accusations there is little viable merit to it.

So can you tell me what I have to do to be saved?

Am I saved on earth or in heaven after judgment?
