The late T. Grady Reece of Franklin, NC use to say this:

"Jesus never promised to leave a Book for us to follow, but He did leave us the Holy Spirit to 'lead and guide' us to the Truth".

I found this statement shocking, but as I litened to him, I found that he was right.

My Bishop said one night, while talking about Apostolics that are liars...

"A man that can't tell the truth will run to other false ways as well."

I've never forgot it and seen it come to pass time and time again.

My dad has never preached a sermon but he said something to me that has been the key to my life in ministering to people.

He said:

Son, if you are going to work with people, remember that first, they are people and therefore they will always disappoint you. Your job is to love them anyway.
