Promiseland-Bro Kenneth Phillips, Austin, TX

Valley Church-Bro Joe Parker, Caldwell, ID

Covenant Church-Bro Mike Hayes, Carrolton, TX

Mountaintop Faith Ministries-Bro House, Las Vegas, NV

Pentecostals of Alexandria-Bro Anthony Mangun, Alexandria, LA

....I would also like to hear these preachers preach:

TF Tenney
Paul Price-as long as it's not political
Kenneth Haney
Paul Haygood

I would love to visit Brooklyn Tabernacale and hear the choir......

Any input from those that have heard or visited these churches/preachers?....
Parker---great guy, lovely wife, she taught me how to drive a standard. Good preacher, his sister was even a better singer!

POA, what a church and pastor/pastors. Ladies prayer group??? Forget about it unless you have been there. Their ex-bass player was on of the best co-ordinators around, I'm sure Phillips is blessed to have him.

TFT-Sat in a small group with him upstairs in my current church a couple of years ago....humbling experience. Did music for his conference here in NB last year, what a preacher!

Haney---saved in his church, baptized and married by him, not enough room here to convey my aprreciative thoughts.

PP, kind man, took & gave a lot of hits. Sang with choir in his church.

That is all...

CJ, if you come to Canada, you have to visit my church and Pastor...WOW! www.capitalcommunity.ca
*I will also show you my In-N-Out Burger collection, LOL*

I forgot, I played bass at Brooklyn Tab...what an organization. From when you first enter and leave, they have got it together. I was also there for a Tues. prayer meeting...amazing. Went for cheesecake with Pastors Cymbala...great couple, kind, and way too smart for me!
One of their pastors is a former school principle and FIL of a friend of mine.

I guess what I took away from all of these great men, is that they were great, but didn't act like it. Unlike a lot of em today, who are not, yet act it.

I live about six miles from Covenant Church, used to go there, but too many people. You can't get in. If you do you have to sit in the hallway above the balcony. lololo 20,000 members now I think.

Is that Joe Parker Mike's BIL?

Been to POA twice. Their Easter Pageant is ledgendary. TOTL.

Potters House is gigantic and rockin'.

Those are some awesome churches listed....

We used to attend POA on the Sundays we didnt have service at night so this was often and we loved it.

Been to Promiseland a few times.. wasnt that thrilled but it was ok.

Been to Brooklyn Tab once.. had forgotten about it but it was when I was pretty young.. it was overwhelming to a young kid but it was memorable... Well all I remember about it was the choir... but I guess thats what most there remember huh LOL

Covenant church.... we attended there when I was like 4 or 5 and then my ex mother in law was the church secretary for one of their daughter works (that was at the time in Garland) not sure if it even exists any longer as the pastor passed away and the assistant quack took over... I visited covenant many times with her during that time... it was better than going to the alternative at the time (quack churchlol)

But... like my church happy here and chose to just stay put... however when we are in the area of good churches we have no issue with visiting a good church!

AHA! That would be Faithworld Northeast. Gary Turner was a great friend of mine. I helped him and Lucy move from KP Austin to Bro Guidroz's in N Dallas.

Gary is the one who came up with the Hellhouse concept for Halloween. He abused his body working so hard at Hellhouse that he died of a heart attack. That's the truth, I was there.

The church is still going, It's called Restoration Church, Garland.
