As for churches in New Orleans, good luck. Bro. Parker's is in Metairie and is a good church. I am not sure of the status of Bro. Cupit's church. Bro. Bryan's on the North Shore in Slidell is a good church.

The only church I have been to in Louisiana was in Bogalusa when I was a little girl. I don't even think we ever went through New Orleans.

I've never been to New Orleans and have thought about making a short
excursion there. Of course New Orleans is famous for it's food among other
things. What restaraunts would you recommend? I would really like to eat
some good cajun food. Some gumbo sounds really good.
Also, if I stayed over on a Sunday, what churches in the New Orleans or
Southern Mississippi area would you recommend.
Yes....first stop Disneyland....then drive down the coast of S Cal to Sea World. Take a boat out to Catalina then fly back to NO if you want
