I have watched people in my life that started off so good that ended in total disaster. I dreamed last night about preaching a sermon.."Lest I forget...."

In the dream I spoke about Esau, ' who for one morsel of bread sold his birthright.' we must suppress all greedy cravings. If we do not, we shall be ‘profane’ person like Esau.

Many preachers are greedy and are not truthful in money matters. That is the fall of many... It has been said that greed is the most dependable of all human vices.

Ron humbleness comes from being broken on the potters wheel. All great men that God used were first broken to self.

You might wonder what he meant by the term "broken vessel."

When one's will is completely surrendered to the will of another, then he is considered to be broken.

Ever "break" a horse. The horse is broken when he learns to accept and execute the command of the rider, whose will he is "broken" to obey. His will is surrendered.

Some people are like a wild horse. They are just as wild serving their own will considering their will is all that is important to them. One is truly broken when their will is no longer of any value but esteem the will of God to be all important to them. One is broken when their will becomes one with the will of God.

If that is not the attitude of the brother of whom you write, then surely he is not ready for any assignment at all....much less that of an assistant to the Pastor or Assistant Pastor.
