In America, you have a electioneering going on for almost two years!
While I don't care for much of what politicians say most of the time, at least we only have to listen to it for a short time.
Doesn't anyone get sick of all this politicking???

30 days is not near long enough to watch them squirm and lie and flip flop. That is when you really get to see what sort of leader they will make....

Did you sing that song to your kids?
I am ready to vote now.

I get sick of thinking that it cost Americans over 1 Billion to host a presidential election.
Then all we get are McCain and Hillary.

Think of the hosting cities and all companies involved to make it happen. People are making money. It's the American way!

Re: We "Canadians" Are Superior To Americans...
I read somewhere about Canada being in debt a pretty good chunk of change because of the healthcare system. Anyone know about this?
I think we should take over Canada. It would be pretty easy wouldn't it?
lol
Just kidding ya.

Re: We "Canadians" Are Superior To Americans...
In the humble opinion of this American, the introduction of a Primary System in 1968 (?) has not served the American public well. To be a contender one must start campaigning two years or more before the election and raise millions of dollars. It used to be that there was great drama at the party conventions because that was where it was decided who would represent the Democrats or Republicans in the General Election. The primary system has not produced any great presidents. Instead of presidents with true personal convictions we get men and women driven by opinion polls. The days when presidents were chosen for their character and convictions are long gone.
