Show me in this thread; where any truth was compromised?
And why do people as your self feel the need to "stand up"?
Hair trigger Christians are dangerous when it come to defending truths.
The truth of Jesus Christ does not need you or any one to defend it.
........Those in Jesus time stood up for what they believed in too, as they shouted, "CRUCIFY"!
Zealousness with out wisdom is like a race car with out brakes.
And Apostolics can be so wrong in being write. Love one another.

Your comparing the zealousness of those who shouted to crucify Christ to the zealousness of those who stand for JESUS' name baptism? That doesn't make sense to me.
Also, I was a teen when I was saved, and I was saved on Sept 5, by being baptized in JESUS' name.
Nakhoe,
I don't see where there was anything ugly in my post either, and holding earnestly to the message of JESUS' name baptism to the exclusions of all the other lies that are out there is not poison, if you believe it is poison perhaps you should rethink your being apart of the Apostolic faith.
GOD BLESS!

Calling everything else a lie, is ugly. You can believe you have truth w/o insulting anyone else and where they are on their journey.
Been doing a whole lotta study lately and seeing some things a little differently. I don't think I'd probably call myself Apostolic anymore, just isn't quite fitting at this point.

2+2=4 is the truth- any other answer for 2+2 is a lie.
Well as I mentioned before, I don't like having to call myself Apostolic either, I'd like to just go by Christian, but unfortunately so many call themselves Christians wrongfully, and it makes the term almost become meaningless, so Apostolic does the trick to set us apart. However, this doesn't seem to be the reason you don't wish to go by Apostolic, you don't want to be Apostolic because you are departing from the Christian faith. Therefore, I don't know what to tell you, except that I hope that you live long enough to return back to GOD if you're straying from HIM.
GOD BLESS!

Also, nahkoe, these people aren't just simply decieved on their "journey." These trinitarians willfully disobey GOD in favor of their traditions or in fear of man and their denominations and such. A genuine, studious trinitarian will come to the Oneness truth, I did!
GOD BLESS!

Re: I Baptized my Kid in Jesus name last night!
Well, Cooper we have been on the same forum a long time and I know you deeply love the Lord. I am thankful you called the name of Jesus over your children...I pray that God blesses you and your family. Continue to teach them about the Name of Jesus for not only is there great power in that name there is salvation in that name.
It is none of my business your personal reasons why you go to the church you go to...however as your friend I will pray that God lead you in all things and please always say a prayer for us in Brazil. Thanks.

My eternal future is quite secure, thanks for the concern.
I've never been too comfortable calling myself Apostolic. I haven't departed from anything by deciding not to use the label anymore.

What denomination did you come out of? Curious, because I've never seen willful disobedience in the denominations I'm familiar with.
I also never said they were simply deceived. Or deceived in any way. We are each on a journey from the moment we first glance in God's direction. Where we are on that journey is far less important than Who we're following.

I've never met anyone from the "other side" that was willfully walking in error! They are walking in what they have been taught and love the Lord as much as you and I do. Many are sincere, God-fearing, praying people. If God wants to reveal things to them, as He did to you, He will do it. But don't condemn them because they aren't where you are. People move at different speeds, and God deals with different people in different ways.

I know the truth. My kids attend the UPC, even though my daughter wears pants outside of church. She has long hair though, and she's just a kid, so they excuse her.

I'm sorry, but the line of thinking that says "my environment does not influence me or my kids" is fruity and simply (in the truest sense) ignorant.
IF parents join a church where trinitarianism is taught they will eventually have kids that believe that doctrine is okay. Let's not delude ourselves here.
The idea that standards are worse than trinitarianism and a false gospel is just plain silly.
