Re: What's the Current Preacher's Car?
If I could upgrade my "preacher" car, I think I'd get a beamer 500 series.
black, with a nice light tan leather interior.

Somehow, it was a luxury car that was acceptable! If you had a Cadillac, you would be putting yourself higher than your members. I know it didn't make any sense, but that was the way it was!
Which automobile is currently the trend among preachers? Or is there a "preacher's" car anymore?

My dad had his "1976" Lincoln Town Car bicentenial model.
He purchased the car in late 1975.
He had to sell it in early 1977 when he started getting sick.
That was an acceptable car for a UPCI minister in 1975.
Manny pastor's today have the drive to church car which is usually an SUV Ford Explorer etc.
Then the BMW etc at home that they drive outside church.
I personally do not care what car anyone drives.
I drive three:
2004 Ford Explorer
2006 Mustang GT
2006 Chevy Aveo

Re: What's the Current Preacher's Car?
My pastor drives a 7 or 8 year old Ford truck, and he just bought his wife a used Chrysler crossover (don't know the model name). We have more than one saint that drives a Hummer, and many luxury vehicle in our parking lot.
I drive a hand me down Cadillac, which is hilarious if you knew my income.

The per capita income in his town is $30,000. He's also one of the senior leaders of the UPC and highly regarded, although not by me.
I drive a Nissan Altima.

Why is he not highly regarded by you?

Re: What's the Current Preacher's Car?
Maybe because he preaches against everything under the sun and then thinks it's ok wear fancy suits, $15,000 wrist watches, live in a posh/gated community, his wife wears $1000 blouses and skirts, and they drive new gold Benz and Lexus vehicles while his congregation and his town is barely middle class?? I definitely have a huge problem with any and all of that.

Re: What's the Current Preacher's Car?
I drive a 2005 Chevy Optra. Good car at a good price.
I really would like a Chevy Uplander Mini Van as it is more practical, but I am happy and blessed!
