I have done amazingly well and I give GOD all the glory!!!! Thanks to all of you for the prayers, calls, thoughts and more prayers~~~~~
Yep, HO - - no staples!!!!! I have a beautiful incension with inside stitches. It's about 6-8 inches long right on the top of my knee.
I'm at my dad's house in Jonesboro, AR and they are taking very good care of me. It's spitting snow and I'm going to go sit in the recliner in the study to watch out the window for a bit.
I'm on the constant motion machine while I'm in bed, so when I get up to walk or sit it's a nice break.
Can't wait to catch up on reading this thread and the others, but for now.....I'm back out.

This morning I woke up feeling even stronger on my leg. I actually walked around a bit holding the walker up and just used my own two legs!! I just thank the Lord things have gone as good as they have!
My dad and his wife are talking excellent care of me and Maggie! During the day I have taken over their bedroom with a king size bed and flat screen. I received so many pretty flower arrangements and she has them all placed in there so I can continue to enjoy them.
Their beds are very tall, so I have to use a step to get up on them, so that's been a bit of a challenge, but has pushed me to use other muscles that have been dormat for a few decades - lol!!!
One of my aunts came to visit me last night and it's just been a very positive time being around my family.
I'm actually sitting in my dad's desk chair typing sideways and my leg is almost at a 90 degree bend - - whoo hoo!
I cannot tell you how much the thoughs and prayers have meant to me and I know it's made the difference in having a very successful surgery and positive recovery. You guys rock!
