I want to share my heart tonight for the Lord. Missions.

Brother and Sister Bir and our own Brother and Sister Alvear are powerful missionaries to parts of the world most believers would never go. They go into the jungles, into the wild, into Indian and native territory time and again to preach the Gospel. We have the honor, the privilege to have them on the forum, and I think we can be a blessing to them.

We have over 1500 active members to this forum. I am wondering if the active members would consider sending the Alvears $10/month, showing love from the AFF family.

I intend to start doing so immediately. Ten dollars is not alot of money, and we burn more in gas going to McDonald's than this weekly. So, could we not drop these workers in the field $10/month to help in the ministry.

If I am out of line, please tell me so. I hope I am not.

No sir, NOT OUT OF LINE!!! Confirmation to you -- I have been having thoughts along this same line lately . . . wanting to do something for the Alvears to help them in their field of work!!

I believe their address is in Sis. Alvear's signature line. Even if it's not an every month thing, I'm sure they'd be grateful for one-time donations.

Let's pull it together for the WORK to go forth. Praise God.

Well, I am so humbled...thank you folks very much. Just came in from a wonderful service with new people coming to the Lord. Our church is so packed. We have ordered 10 more pews...Look at our pictures and you can see many things your missionary dollars are doing.
Our traveling group just baptized 7 new souls this morning in the state of Sergipe.
