Re: I'm Staying at Renda's!

I thought the picture on the card was kinda cute,I was worried though you might have thought that card might look like a children's card.

It kind of reminds me of the Chicken Harvest soup at O'Charley's, which is good, but it's just soup. It's not like Chicken and Dumplings should be, texture-wise.

However, it's cheap and very easy, which are two definite pluses! I'm still going to try the beef stew one though. So far, chicken and rice is winning!
I've had the beef stew one and was not impressed...at least I don't rememeber being impressed.

I'm gonna try the chicken and rice....

The best 'premade' chicken and dumplings I've had are out of can. Brand is "Little (maybe Lil') Sussy. it's a blue can,
THEY ARE GOOD!

Do not look at the following pictures if you might be offended by seeing a fat swollen leg in pj's!

One week after surgery:

Wow Renda,

That looks awful. I didn't think they had to do such a big incision for that any more. You've been through a lot, haven't you? Can you tell if your knee is working better, feeling better than before the surgery? I have a torn maniscus[sp] and have procrastinated about getting it fixed.

We're just far to young to have knee problems like this.

Blessings, Rhoni

It really looks great - lol!

Yes, it has to be that long because they saw the tibia and femur and take the knee out.

I can't really judge yet because I won't have full range of motion or be back to normal for a couple more months. However, I feel assured that it will be MUCH better once I get through all the therapy!

I've had knee problems since I was 16, but I am too young to be walking around with a walker - lol!!!!

LOL....actually that's her butt up against me. Her head is away from me. I thought that at first too, but if you notice her collar is up by her head.

She is always right next to me. When the guy is here giving me my therapy she wants to be between me and him - - she's worried he's hurting me (and she's right!!!!)
