Rev. Dale Gibson-Anahuac Tx,Mont Belvieu Tx, Oretta La-My Dad and my pastor for many years. Also very strict on us kids growing up, but has mellowed and now he says that he wishes he could redo alot of things over for saints and family alike. He and my mom also had a servants heart that you don't find many places today.

Rev. James Coots-Batson Tx-As my husbands uncle, Rev. Harold Davis, says: Once a Coots, Always a Coots!
Rev. Harold Davis-Hardin Tx-Uncle by marriage and truely a Man of the Word. He has been there for Raymond and I through thick and thin
Rev. William Davis (ie: Wild Bill of Waco) Uncle by marriage who truely has been a blessing to my husband and son
Rev. Jim Baker-cousin by marriage-love him and his humor-have never heard him preach, but his life has been an example for me
Rev. Jerry Ward-Houston Tx-Sweet man and good pastor
Rev. Scott T. Lewis-West Houston-No one (and I mean NO ONE!) can teach like this Man of God. His teaching on receiving the Holy Ghost and backing it with scripture is untouchable by anyone that I have heard teach and preach.
Rev. Rob McKee-Katy Tx-He truely has a servants heart. He teaches and preaches and lives humble. I have to say that I am calmer and more submissive to his teaching than any other pastor that I have sit under.

Dear Bella,
You must come and hear Bro. Jim baker preach. He is my Pastor and he was so anointed Sunday...he has a sense of humor and a heart of gold.
Blessings, Rhoni

Hopefully I will get to hear him this summer. I will be singing in a concert in Cedar Hill (somewhere near Dallas) in July and I am hoping to make the Sunday morning service that weekend with my family.

I always wanted him to preach my funeral because I felt he was the only one who knew me. He passed away before I did, but I had the privilege of interpreting his funeral for the deaf that go to the church in Indianapolis, Calvary Tabernacle, where the funeral was held. My interpreting was fitting, and I felt the loss.

Is he the one that pastored in Marion, Indiana for a while? Ruthie's dad? Sorry, that's just how I remember her. Oh, and the big gold things she used to wear in her hair and on her jackets. Oh, the things you remember. It was also interesting to see Rhoni that you attended Indiana Weslyan. How so very close to my hometown!!!

Re: For Women only...
1. My dad, Ron Mullings, from him I learned the meaning of integrity, how to be humble, and what having a servants heart meant. He modeled for me what the love of a husband should be, and how a man should take care of his family. After over 40 years of marriage, I have never seen a man love his wife more than my father loves my mother. No body better mess with my mom, and that includes us kids!
I also inherited a twitchy nervous tension, and a little impatience, LOL!
2. My brother, Jon Mullings, from him I learned the meaning of faith, and the power of vision. I watched a 15 year old boy look death in the eye without an ounce of fear or self-pity. There is no question that this man is my hero, he has allowed God to use him completely, and in the midst of madness, manages to be an amazing husband and father. And still maintain a crazy sense of humor!
3. My grandfather, Alvin Mullings, from him I learned the meaning of true Christianity, steadfastness of character, and unconditional love. A kinder, gentler man I have never known.
4. My "uncle", Don McCann. His love has been one of the unchangeable rocks in my life, a constant safety net.
5. My brother-in-law, John Cartier. From him I learned, not for the first time, the fallibility of first impressions. I was against my sister marrying him, I felt they were totally wrong for each other, but saw him buckle down and work on the things that needed to worked on, and love my sister completely in spite of the opposition he faced. And to do it all without holding a grudge. He is not a perfect man, but one who is willing to work on his problems and learn from his mistakes. He has become one of my closest friends.
6. Randy Duncan, my teen-age Sunday School teacher and mentor. He is the one who helped me start to build my relationship with God as a Teen-ager and he left a permanent mark on my life. I don't agree with the path he wound up choosing, but that does not negate his impact on my life, and I will always love him for that.

Re: For Women only...
Wow I dont know where to begin.
My Dad, He loved me the only way he knew how. He is such a quiet person yet always knew how to love. Even when my mother pushed me away and even out of the house at a very young age, my Dad was always there for me and taught me how to love unconditionally.
Rev. John Kershaw.
He is the best Papa in the world and one who taught me how to love, how to pray, how to study the word and how to be myself. If it werent for all the times my mom would just drop me off at the church and leave me there for hours alone and him making me and my sister sit on the floor in his office and read... read... read... (and what else is there to read in a pastors office other than Bibles and study material lol) and if we were tired of reading.. we could clean or pray.. or read or clean and pray... those years taught me so much... When I backslid.. he showed me how I was still loved by him and by God most of all... he is the one earthly person who never gave up on me!
Dan Dean,
He was my Sunday school teacher for years and years but most of all a sounding board for a little girl who thought she lost everything when she found out about her adoption. He and Becky cared for me and loved me no matter what and were always there for me and cared endlessly.
Patrick Smallwood.
My youth pastor. He came in at a very rough time in the history of our church and managed to show us all love and care and leadership we needed. He taught us how to grow among our trials and that no matter what everyone else was saying... we had to continue to live for God no matter what!!I know the first 2 months he was here he must have had at least 50 of our youth group at his house continually counselling us because of the mess he entered into yet... it didnt bother them one bit... it was what they were made for!
Rev. Richard Elrod
Rev. Richard Christian (boy was it a wild ride but we love them so much and do miss OKC so so much! definitely a growing experience)
Pastor AB Keating... Thank you for such a wonderful time and place of healing! Your impact on our lives will forever be there!
Rev. DG Hargrove.
There are so many wonderful things I could say about my pastor but I will simply leave it at... He is awesome!!!!
These are just a few but the ones who have made the biggest impact!

In the church I grew up in we'd have those "Fellowship Rallys" on Friday night. The Marion church was in that rally circuit. I remember looking up to "Ruthie Schmidt" and telling my mom I wanted to be just like her! My mom was very conservative in dress (she wasn't allowed to wear red growing up, no open toe shoes, no splits in skirts, full skirts, etc.). So when I would say I wanted to be like Ruth, my mom would about have a heart attack!!! It was really funny...

Sis. Ruth is very conservative and dresses less conspicuously today. She is a very sweet person. I admire her for standing when she has been through so much. She is part of the 'survivors' group.
Blessings, Rhoni

Re: For Women only...
My husband introduced me to Jesus...what greater thing could I ask for?! He's also a wonderful husband to me and father to our 4 boys.
My maternal Grandfather...I love him so...he's not a very personable man, but he taught me how to work hard, to do the job right the first time and he's always been there for me...to this day I can still drive over to the farm and know he'll be there.
Roger...a great "Dad" he's been to me for the past several years. He has shown me all the love my own father has not been able to. He's the most loving, gentle man I know.

Re: For Women only...
My grandfather was good to me when I went to JCM. He lived in Memphis and I would stay with him on any breaks from school. He always bought me jars of pickled [hot] okra to take back with me. He bught me a jean coat my Freshman year. I miss him.
