We live in a different world from just a few years ago. We must take precautions to protect ourselves and our people. If not we open ourselves up to lawsuits on top of the dangers.

Have you noticed the rise in school shootings even in
the univerities ? They say this is related to people
taking all these anti depressant Drugs, namely Prozac.

We have spoke to his family members and he feels backed in a corner and hard no choice but to fight his way out. His wife blames the former pastor for his behavior.

You can not help someone who thinks fighting their way out, and blame others for their actions.

I believe the scriptures say we are not to sue, we are not suing we are looking for protection.

Thank God my husband has enough brains to call the POLICE and protect his family and the church.

OP, I can see where you are coming from, but you are way off on this. Taking these measures has not been Keith and Jeanie's first response to this man. They've done the things you are suggesting and things have escalated to the point of their needing to protect themselves and the congregation they're responsible for from the rantings, ravings, and possible violence of a mad man. Their actions are appropriate and prudent given the circumstances.
