Re: Am I being asked to leave?

Wow. I have to say I am surprised at what's happened since last night. Certainly wasn't expecting this. What's ironic is that I agree with those who feel this board is leaning more and more towards the liberal end of the spectrum. In fact, I've complained about how I see more and more one steppers and fewer and fewer three steppers on AFF.

WIth that said, I don't see what the point is in you hanging around if you see the people you post with as heathens. Having to constantly fight against a spirit of judgmentalism gets old after awhile. The liberals don't seem to have an issue with accepting the conservatives as brothers and sisters in the Lord, in spite of the differences in beliefs. Why is it so hard for the conservatives to extend the same courtesy to the liberals? Disagree on the issues without resorting to condemning them to Hell. Is that too much to ask for? I've been told by so many conservatives on this board that I am splitting Hell wide open my ears have developed callouses from it. The folks on the liberal side of the aisle have NEVER resorted to that, and I promise you they don't consider me a liberal and one of their own.

Because they are all being converted to the truth.

Amen! You said a mouthful there!

I (as a moderate) agree with the bolded part.

However, I think all the UC should hang around. It is healthy for them and for us who may be a bit more liberated to dialog.

There you go again!

I say the membership is overwhelmingly Oneness Pentecostal. Some have different marks of devotion and are more liberal or conservative, but these are for the most part secondary issues.

I'm having a blast! PP reminds me of that guy in the Bible who just couldn't stand it that that one person would not bow down to him. It drove him nuts! I tried looking for the story yesterday, but I can't remember enough details to search for it with my Bible program. If I could just find out what that fella's name was......................................

Be careful. He'll accuse you of wanting to be an admin around here for standing up to him. Oh, wait a minute! You are an admin!
