I have one and of course noticed you can just as easily

Just as we don’t allow them to listen to worldly music (because they can download that) we don’t allow them to watch that junk. At our church we don’t preach against “objects” we preach against Hollywood and things like Hollywood.

Actually I think that is why the TV/Internet is so strong. Few preachers that preach against even owning, let alone watching TV will preach against having the internet or using it. It's the same thing. It's all about content.

There are millions of web pages out there and we look at a extremely small fraction of them. So some have no problem having Cable and having a lot of channels they won't ever watch just to watch the news, history channel or other stuff like that

That's the way to do it. But more than just thumping and telling people "no" we need to give them tools to be discerning Christians. In other words they need to know why that stuff is not right. Simply saying "it's worldly" is just telling them you think it is worldly. Tell them why it's worldly. Why it's bad for you.
