1 Corinthians 1:27
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
1 Peter 2:6
Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

I believe it is a trinitarian diagram. As I always assumed was the case, many people don't think trinitarians believe in one God. They do. It comes down to "persons" vs. "manifestations". But both oneness and trinitarians believe that each entity (or manifestation - whatever) is fully God.
I agree that this is an interesting discussion. I also think it's amusing to see people tell you the way it "is" - as if they have any way of knowing. "You will go to hell if you visualize God as XYZ." Nonsense.

Stephen--this diagram is exactly the way I would try to explain or understand God. Does that scare you?
It scares me that you are 51 and think like me...
I believe both diagrams are accurate and biblical.
The first one is used by many Trinitarians to "explain" the Godhead.
The second is from a Oneness scholar and as someone noted does not deal with the Holy Spirit. (that is because it was used in a Father/Son relationship article)

Oh good grief. Draw a big circle. write these 3 letters inside it

O

Please dont write them in reverse order.

Are you being funny here?
Obviously your "diagram" would not deal with the incarnation...

I was being somewhat funny.
the incarnation is only problematic for those that need some kind of metaphysical or existential understanding of God that goes beyond
Here O Israel, the Lord our God is ONE. I have come to the place where the subject beats me down. We deny this, they deny that. If you are a Christian, you should believe there is one God, and God manifest himself in flesh dot dot dot, etc etc etc ad infinitum.
yada yada yada.

I am Oneness. "Persons" or even "Person" is not a good word choice in regards to the Godhead.
