She probably had an issue with being hirsute. Arm pit hair that long isn't normal. I'm still laughing, though!

We have a girl in the church here who has a CRAZY personality, she used to think it was so funny to go to the mall and tuck her (long) hair under her arms and walk around like it was sticking out from her armpits!!
