It was quite a running debate/convention!

as Baron points out, it seems the day left Hoover dismayed and looking for a different carreer!

It's all over but the cryin' now! Glad I conceded when I did. I even slid out of the controversy when it was hot!

Re: If AFF were the presidential election!

Dear Friends and fellow AFFers,

I don't have the privilege to campaign fulltime and enjoy upper tier income as some of my opponents. Can I remind you, I am from among you, my people. I am a keeper of the hearth - a humble man.

I also do not have the privilege of setting aside my integrity to ensue backroom politics that my mother would not approve of.

We will stand strong with the many supporters who have invested their heartfelt energy in the HOOVIE/GRACE Chimney Party... I am your brother in soot - and proud to say so!

We have been disparaged but not disheartened, we are not a people of ease, and seldom do the rightous rule.

When Patrick J Buchanan spoke the truth, too few harkened. Now, years later, we are rethinking the open borders without fences, the supposed "benefits" of a carte blanche NAFTA policy, a "softer" defense for the unborn, and the great virtues of a unilateral interventionalist military.

Pat garnered over 30% in the Republican Party winning the first three of four contests, but in the end the DC beltway elite could not let it happen. Nevertheless, our country is a better place for voices like PJB and his impact continues.

I was there with Pat and am proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with you good people today.

This is not concession - far from it - this is only the beginning an AFF that is truely for and by the people!

Honestly? My people were very concerned about the baggage you brought to the table. I argued there was a good heart somewhere behind that naked chest and spandex speedos...

I was wrong.
