Re: People In Hurricane Ike's Path

Rhoni that is sad but yet wonderful news that there has been not as much loss of life as they thought..

Yes we are still praying for Griff and the others without power..

The only damage we had here, thank God the thing turned real fast... is a huge tree down in my dads back yard (the neighbors tree) and a lot of limbs in our street otherwise unscathed here and all of this area is the same.. God had his hand on so many.. it was predicted to be so much worse..

Glad you all are okay, AG. We had a severe thunderstorm this morning. It just blew through. Glad that's over too!

I bet it was that tree they tried to cut down...right? lol I hope it missed everything important when it fell.

Re: People In Hurricane Ike's Path

Oh before I go I remembered someone asking about Bro Doug Whites church.. Now this is not from him but we have Bro Anderson from Houston here with us this weekend and I asked him this morning after he preached at church if he had heard from Bro White and he said no but that he has talked to most of the pastors or heard of most of the pastors in the areas hit and he has not heard that any of our churches faced any great loss in this storm so I am taking that as promising because he said they all heard as soon as his church was hit the last time so we are praying and assuming all is well there! Now... I am gone to dinner!
