Netflix

So who here is a subscriber?

We just started about a month ago and love it! My wife has recently "discovered" the streaming shows at netflix.com and has been watching the entirety of season 4 of The Office.

After the first few weeks where you feel you need to watch and return as many movies as possible, we quickly settled down to a couple a week. At this rate, the price is about the same (or a bit more) then renting them, but with the convenience of not having to step foot in a video store.

Re: Netflix

We have been members for several years. We like it. It gives you an option if you don't like what is on TV. I will say that it will be one of the first things I cut back on if I need to. The price is great - we get two movies at a time. We always have something to watch. I have ordered exercise videos to preview before I order it to see if it meets my needs.

Re: Netflix

Just the streaming part is almost worth it. IF the quality was better (more like true HD), we would cancel our DirecTV and just watch the Vudu box!

Re: Netflix

Netflix is a good service.

Just keep your queue full so they can turn them around fast when they get them.

Put new releases at the top of your queue. They get mailed out the day before they are released in stores and you often get them in the mail the same day they are released in the stores.

I have Rambo (the last one) and Saw II (just saw the first one) waiting.

Re: Netflix

We have it, though during the school year we don't get too many. I haven't been to a video store in almost two years.

Re: Netflix

We have it. I love being able to get the old tv shows, like Green Acres & Mr. Ed. Very fun, and my children love those. They are a good alternative when there is nothing but trash on tv....since hubby won't let me throw it out the window.

RW, you have interesting (scary) taste in movies

I wouldn't say that it is so much "scary" as it is eclectic.
