Not to be mischaracterized or lied about, I'm voting for Bob Barr because Obama is entirely too liberal for my beliefs and I can't in good conscience vote for another President who has misguided opinions and beliefs on Iraq and agreed with GWB 90% of the time. Just for clarity's sake.

aint it funny. Sarah Palin hasnt attempted to rob Americans of Liberty by stealing their right to a secret ballot, that would be Barak Obama.

Sarah Palin hasnt supported legislation that infrenges Americans right to free speech, that would be Barak Obama, but what we all must be hightly concerned with is what Sarah Palin is wearing.

there is no difference between sexism and racism.

$150,000 in clothes at Neiman Marcus!!!!!!

I would buy a house with that!!!!
Oh my goodness! You are at it again!!!

$150,000 is "nada" in the fashion world. There is a tremendous difference in quality clothing, let me tell you, Buddy! LOL!

What about Diane Sawyer and Katie Couric's wardrobe? Do we get to talk about that? What about that string of pearls that Nancy Pelosi wears around her neck - and not tight enough, IMHO! Hehehe!

What about all the jobs, down the ladder, that are making money from these purchases? American Capitalism at work!

I'd rather Palin dress really nice to represent America and the White House than that black and white "sundress" Michelle wore on the View!

Okay, off my soap box.

Mike, relax, no one is lying about you. I honestly couldn't remember who were voting for. Bob Barr? Might as well be Frank Burns, or Barney Fife, or George Kastanza. I was just trying to correct Mr. Thigh about you voting for Obama.

Well, I can, sort of, forgive you for voting for Barr. One of my sisters is not voting at all.

But on the Iraq issue and other military matters - Let's look at Colin Powell a little closer, shall we?

Quote:
More bad advice from Colin Powell

Powell advised Bush 41 not to destroy Saddam's army near the end of the Kuwait War in 1991. Saddam waged war against us for the next ten years and defied us after 911.

In 2003, after getting a U.N. resolution before the Iraq War that called for "serious consequences"(universally understood as promising military force), Powell, nevertheless insisted that Bush 43 seek another, redundant U.N. resolution that gave Saddam month's to plan an insurgent war. Thousands of Americans paid with their lives.

Same Powell that abandoned President Clinton in regard to Somalia in 1993, when Clinton entered office in the midst of an ongoing operation and, despite a request by the President to stay on through the crisis.

He was great at following orders in Vietnam; President Reagan's orders as National Security Advisor and President George H.W. Bush's orders during the first part of the 1991 Gulf War.

But when President Bush asked for his advice as Saddam Hussein's army was fleeing a liberated Kuwait, he lost his way. At that moment, he rose above his pay grade and failed President Bush 41 and America.

Today, we are told, he is poised to endorse a man who considers making a decision on when a baby is entitled to human rights is above his pay grade.

PO, you're my buddy and you know that. Where you and I differ, and probably always will on Iraq, is that Saddam Hussein WAS NOT "attacking this country for 10 years between 91 and 01". In fact, he was no threat to this country or any U.S. interest. Was he a pest and beligerant, and a thorn in the flesh that bore watching? Yes. Is it good that an evil man is dead? Yes. Was a full scale military invasion of that country called for? Absolutely not.

I believe that Saddam's main motive was to engage in his bravado talk which kept the Iranians guessing and thus bolstered his defenses against his neighbor.

I supported Afghanistan and still do. We should destroy al-qaeda and it's leaders and the Taliban. Anyone who attacks this country should suffer destruction at the hands of our military and we should never ask anyone from permission. Iraq, however, was NOT in that category.

Re: RNC Spends BIG Money for Gov Palins clothes...

It's a well known fact that you're judged by your appearance and obviously Sarah Palin is in the public eye, so she has to look her best......
We know I'm cheap and would never spend that kind of money. I'm in awe at the $5000 for a new wardrobe on What Not to Wear.
But this is not an average gal just going to work or church. Her image is verrrry important.
I am glad she is representing herself and the RNC as a classy lady!
