I didn't remember much about the sides, just that they had like a variety of really good chicken that was not breaded and fried. I would definitely buy into a franchise like that and make sure that I offered complete low carb meals that were good and that people could get quickly or through a drive-thru like every other fast food restaurant.

For starters, you stay trim, you eat out most of the time, you don't like fried food, and to be honest, I don't ever remember anything you ate when I was with you.

I agree, It's an excellent Idea. There are few drive thru mexican style
places that offer REAL food.

Panda express is doing drive thru chinese food

we do eat out almost everyday (gets old).
A lot of mexican food ( & chinese). Here's the key:
I try to eat my heavy meal by 3pm. ALways eat breakfast!
just make a shake in the blender with a lot of fruit and yogurt.
also good to have some cereal.

If you eat early, you will not be very hungry late at night.
when it's late, do not eat any carbs or sugars.

Candy is a big temptation. I can eat candy all day every day
non stop if I let myself.

We discovered these last year on a trip and I think we ate there three times in a week!!! They had Arroz con Pollo that was as good as I've had it in Costa Rica. AND it was all low fat, though not low carb. It was the best fast food I've ever had!

The El Polo Loco in Stockton just moved about a block down the street to a brand new building. They must be having revival! They tore down the mini golf and waterslide place and built a strip mall. God is moving!

I heard a while back that there was one in Houston. It would make sense, but I have yet to find it.

Yeah, if I ever go into the fast food business, I would certainly go after the crowd that would appreciate legitimate fast food convenience with delicious low carb/fat foot.

I don't like their sandwiches.

Their chicken tenders with real honey..... good stuff!

Their lemonade.... really good stuff!

El Pollo Loco is dog food compared to a local business here. They have a couple locations. It's called El Pollo Norteno.

Nothing but chicken and Tri-tip. Their chicken is way better than EPL. Their tri tip rocks. Simple meals...beans and salsa with your choice of tortella or you can get spanish rice
