But to state that because the pastor declares something that should either be done or refrained from, and then declare that because someone in their church doesn't follow the pastor's directive, and is therefore disobedient, and therfore rebellious, and therefore in witchcraft, and therefore headed to STRAIGHT to hell, is nothing short of popery.

Bulls eye!
There is nothing greater on this earth than the salvation God Himself purchased with His own blood!!! To MESS with that, IMO, is to take the role of God Himself upon oneself.
I think that is dangerous territory to tread upon. Call me liberal. Call me a compromiser. Call me loosey goosey or whatever it is you want to call me, but I ain't messin' with salvation.
Happy Easter!!!!

I think I'll finally use the ignore button.

Ronzo I was using everyday examples that we could relate to. MOW does have some absolutes I wish he would carry them into the teaching of the gospel.

Even though Jesus said that God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him, there are those who seem to believe it is their God appointed role in life to condemn everyone who is not like them. Jesus said anyone who believes in Him is not condemned because the fruit of their life shows that they have come into the light and it is obvious that what they do has been done through God. ( John 3:16-21)

Elder,
I love you and appreciate you, and have read enough of your posts to understand your pointedness is not meant as rudeness, but boy howdy, you have come very close to personal bashing here in regards to MOW.

What you need to recognize is that it wasn't Noah who closed the door, but God. It's when folks like yourself step into the role of closing the door on people that God has opened the door to, that gets me rankled.

Noah, looked out the side of the boat and he saw a bunch of "Canoesmatics" rowing beside the Ark!
I am sorry, I couldn't help myself!
Uh, Oh, gotta run.
