I will never change my mind. I didn't change my mind when Bill Clinton was running for President. I listened to him to get a feel of who he was and he turned out to be what I thought he was. I feel the same about Obama and I will not change how I feel on that either.

Yeah, he pretty much exploded in the 2004 convention. His was the most discussed speech of the night. That was the first I had heard of him.

I've been praying for him.....I have to believe that despite the differences I have with him that he is not evil and that he has America's interests at heart. I remember when I was young hearing about how JFK was going to completely ruin our country. Let's pray for Barack Obama.

Yeah, that was one of the first things that hit me as they panned the crowd. And yes, I do think that it is remarkable how quickly so many people have been able to move past what was once concrete and impenetrable.

Now we will need to pray stronger and harder for this president to do the RIGHT thing more than any before!

Good night.
I think as you know people have gone against God's will in the past. Many still go against God's will. What is to say that this is really God' will? God's will is for all men to come unto repentence. Don't think this counts as that. America could very easily go against God's will. Just because God knows everything that is going to happen does not mean it is always his will for it to happen. He may have had other plans for America but now America may have to pay a high price and learn repentence so that God can do what he wants and bring his will back into play.

(yes I know God controls all things, just saying it is possible for man to go against the will of God. This situation is no exception)

Re: AFF Election Night Thread...

As I have been stating for over a year, we will be saying President Obama!

Whatever side you're on, we can blame or thank the Republicans, whatever the case may be, whose arrogant and condescending attitude toward conservatives alienated them and cause them to jump ship. Their belief that the conservatives were owned by them and had no where else to go, cost them the election!

I could care less if the president is black or not. However, Obama is NOT black. He is NOT African American. He is half and half and that cannot be disputed. It really doesn't matter to me though. My trust is NOT in politics or the economy. I will sleep well tonight knowing who holds tomorrow!

I will get up, work out, pray, do pastoral work etc the same as I have done before. I will not ooooo and ahhhhhhh and would not have if McCain were elected. I was not excited about him in the least. I voted for him but not because I was sold out.

As a conservative, I will still put my trust in the Lord where my help comes from!!!
