I was unaware that God wanted us to rise up against Barak Obama.

I thought "we wrestle not against flesh and blood"....really meant that.

I will pray....but I will be praying that God blesses our president and his family....I will pray that God grants him favor with the right people and direct his steps....I will be praying that God will grant him grace and give him divine direction during these troubled times….I will be praying that God helps him become the greatest president ever.

When our children became young adults and were dating young men and women that
would perhaps become their spouses, I never let it show whether I approved or other,
because I wanted them to make their choice. But I prayed diligently for them that GOD
would give them wisdom and divine direction. When they announced their engagement
and had made their choice, I purposed in my heart I would love them as my own children.
Never wanted them to feel pressure that we wanted them to marry this one
or that one. But once they married we accepted them as our own children. Their choice
may not have been the one we would have chosen, but we disregarded that thinking once
they chose. We have supported them in their choices and loved them as our own. All six
are married to their original spouses. The youngest has been married 12 yrs. Others,15 yrs,
17 yrs., 19 yrs., 20 yrs.,and the eldest will be married 27 yrs. Feb.5th. We will be married
50 yrs. July 2009. God faithfully keeps that which we commit to Him, whatever the situation.

Regardless of who we voted for, we have a President-elect. We prayed that God's Will
would be done. We will pray for those that are being placed in the leadership of our
nation. Yes. may God bless our leaders, in Jesus Name!
America, God has blessed us. Can we bless Him!

I watched a sermon from a local pastor on TV last night. His sermon last Sunday morning covered exactly what your post suggests.

It's Biblical and what God expects of every Christian as I understand the Word.
