Unidentified Flying Objects: Have you seen one?

From age 8 to 24 I traveled over much of the United States. This was during the time when there was not much strange air traffic. If there was it was easy to spot against a relatively empty sky.

I have seen several UFO's in my lifetime. This is due mainly because I have lived in nearly mid western state and have always looked up (aircraft have always held a fascination for me).

On several occasions I was only one of the witnesses present.

I am curious, discounting the idea of aliens and spaceships, what is your experience and how (if at all) did it change your thoughts and/or life?

1. Summerton, AZ (1966 from the dunes behind the Cocopah reservation; 1 witness)

It hovered low, stopped about 500 feet from me, I wake up in a cold sweat. For years I had this 'dream' till I visited my mother ans sister in Hobbs, N.M. and they asked me if I remembered the time...

2. Summerton, AZ (1966 from the Cocopah reservation; 3 witnesses)

It was a craft that glowed orange. It was hovering over the cotton patch across the canal from my grandfather's adobe hut. My mother, her boyfriend, and myself were witnesses to it (I was 10).

My sister who is an artist, said 'here is what you said it looked like.'

She drew a picture of a craft that was identical to the one in my dream and the one my mother saw with me.

3. Loomis, WA (1972 from the Big Check Apple Ranch; 7 witnesses)

It appeared high in the sky very late at night (about 10pm).
It was disc shaped with 4 dark circles under it.

The witnesses were: the O'Connor brothers (Elmer, Patrick, Joe, and Jeff), Myself, My sister, and her boyfriend.

The craft came from the direction of Spectacle Lake. As it approached Patrick (who had the binoculars) said; "LOOK!"

I took the binoculars and looked. It didn't take long I put the glasses down because the 2nd object and 3 others appeared over the trees from 4 different directions.

Each of the smaller craft entered the bottom of the larger craft and the dark circles disappeared.

A light either from the sky to the craft or from the craft to the sky shone very brightly, all of us thought it was exploding and fell over the younger kids to protect them.

The land lit up, but there was no sound. The flash of light was gone and so was the object.


4. Haltom City, Texas (1979 from the parking lot of Randys Drive in Grocery; 150 witnesses)

I was leaving work at 7:am from my all night shift. I saw a customer at the gas pump holding his hand above his eyes and was looking over the store at something.

I was about halfway to my car and the fellow at the pump said, Hey, what do you make of that?

I turned, backed up (so I could see over the building) and saw an Orange (Brass) colored sphere hovering in a single spot over the residential area behind the store. It was rotating counter clockwise and made no sound.

I stood for about 2 mins and went back into the store and called the local radio station (sorry I cannot remember the call letters). The DJ told me they had already received 80 or more calls about it. They had called the airport and other places but no one seemed to know what it was.

The fellow at the pumps started yelling, I ran out to him and asked; "Where is it?" he said, it just went up and disappeared in a cloudless blue sky.

I am not afraid to tell these stories as they are part of my life.

Thats my encounters; what are yours.

Back in the 70's when the UPC had the convention in Salt Lake City, Utah several ministers admitted to seeing a football shaped UFO at close range while in Utah; Are you one of them?

What I find interesting is there is no uniform shape or size for UFOs and USOs (underwater)...if they were aliens then they are not from the same planet or they are from the same planet but are flying leased UFOs from different companies lol

I was in Litchfield, IL in 1999 or 2000 and was at a stoplight. Suddenly, this motion caught my eye, and I watched a light travel from one side of the sky to the other in about ten seconds. It was not a falling star, but was on a path from east to west.

I ignored it, thinking it was a falling star that lasted a long time, or a comet or something....until I read in the paper the next day that it was seen by dozens of people from the east coast to the west!

Yes after my surgery and doses of Morphine, I saw plenty of flying objects.

I have seen a few unidentifiable objects at the beach but nothing flying. sorry

Correction: You misquoted verse 14 and removed it from its context:

2 Corinthians 11:13 "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ."

Never seen one, I think they are military craft. Probably unmanned.

The flash of light? Could be breaking the "light barrier" like the sonicboom of the sound barrier being broken.
