Meeting of AFF Members
It has recently come to my attention that some members have had meetings in person.
What is your opinion on this? Would you meet with a member of the opposite sex that you met online?
In one recent meeting one member was single and the other was married but met without their spouse.
What say you?
IS THIS CAUSE FOR CONCERN?

Re: Questionable Meetings of AFF Members
I am wanting feedback. How would you handle this? I am not mentioning any names, and am not stating any impropriety occured. I will say at know at least one gift was exchanged.

Re: Questionable Meetings of AFF Members
I don't think there is anything improper with this as long as the spouse has knowledge of the meeting and is OK with it.

Re: Questionable Meetings of AFF Members
I think it always depends on the situation.
#1 Was it a "clandestine" meeting?
#2 Did the meeting take place in public or a private setting?
#3 Did anyone else know about the meeting?
#4 What time was the meeting?
If BBQ sauce was involved, all bets are off! LOL

I really cannot think of a situation where meeting someone of the opposite sex, that you met online, without your spouse present would even be considered a wise thing to do.
But I also do not think the Admin team or anyone, anywhere, on any Forum has any responsibility for the behavior of posters. People are people. Some are ignorant people.

Re: Questionable Meetings of AFF Members
If someone's comittment to their spouse is so shallow that an innocent meeting would cause them to fall then the meeting has nothing to do with it.
It's all about propriety. I would not fear my spouse meeting with someone on innocent terms. However, if it is secret, I would think that is improper.

Thanks for the comments so far. I realize the admin team has no real authority nor responsibility in this... that why it is here...
This story is developing...
I can now report the meeting took place at Starbucks...
The members in question were sitting on couches...

So is it the couch, the sitting, or the coffee that's a sin?
