Of course they are connected.
I understand J.Hunt, J. Ragsdale, J. Suber, J. Griffin and some others are going to be starting something new soon.

I guess it would take an Ohio pastor to know an Ohio pastor.

I have seen so many lies posted. The best one is the one Triumphant 1 did his best to combat. You know, the hair cutting party thing?
Prominent members of this board chose to believe the lie and even continue to spread it, even though T1 had totally proved it was false.

I think there are some who are going to far with the relevant doctrine. Part of it is being relevant to the world....you have to BE like the world to win the world. Some are being just that....going to clubs, drinking, etc. to "win" the world.
I am not saying Hunt is like this at all...in fact, I AM NOT saying that. I do know of others that have taken on this ideology and done these things.

Really???? To win the world? Or just because their carnality won over their spirituality? If I thought their motives were as pure as you stated, it wouldn't upset me so badly to see these things happen. I have seen way too many pastors who have gone down this road.

Sadly and unfortunately Sherri this is exactly the explanation of motive and why they are doing what they are doing...all while being a minister. I think, to them, it gives them a justification for being okay while doing it for "souls."
And...once again...I am not speaking of Hunt here.

Re: Pastor Joe Hunt
So are you just talking about people who go out clubbing and drinking on the guise of trying to win the lost? or are you talking about people who go clubbing and drinking period? Or better yet, are you talking about people who drink alcohol and also claim to be Christian?
