Yes, Sis Falla, and Sister Diz knows why I sent her this verse from this particular book. She sent it to Lola just before Lola left us. I read every word of this book to Lola. It gave her such comfort. The book has a matching pen with it, and Lola wanted me to hand her the pen one day with a piece of paper. She tried her best to write her name with it just because "that lady in California was sweet enough to send it to me". Thats the one and only time that pen was ever written with...or ever will be. I'll cherish that book, pen and scrap of paper. Just wanted Sis Diz to know how she helped us to find rest when we really needed it!

I just want you all to know that prayer works!! I know that some of you prayed for me this afternoon, I promise that after I posted this thread, the phone probably only rang 4 or 5 more times the entire day!!! And my mom only called me one more time! And I got the cookie bags done without stomping or eating any of them!!

Thanks girl, I think the storm has passed! I still feel pretty bad, but I am going home to crawl under my big heavy quilt with a cup of hot tea, so I am good to go!!
