Why are Mens Public restroom so nasty?

Want to know what nasty is? Asian restrooms!! I could figure out how on earth the women made such a mess. It puzzled me for quite a while until I figured out that many of them "STAND" on the seat and crouch. Then it made more sense.

From what I understand that is how they have done it for years...many restrooms were really nothing more than a hole and they would squat...even the men when they were doin #2 :-)

Yes, but you'd think with regular toilets with seats and all off the floor that they'd know better than to stand/crouch on them.

It was disgusting! Apparently they though if they sat on the seat they might get a disease or something. Which you might if you sat on them after they were finished.

You had to carry kleenex ALWAYS because a lot of the restrooms didn't provide toilet tissue.

Yup. It was that way in Russia and Belarus as well. Just plain weird. No wonder they preferred the simple hole in the floor. Ya didn't have to be an acrobat to go potty!

Exactly Stephen. I was going to make that point. The washrooms with the hole in the floor were much better as far as cleanliness went.
