Well, I'd love to leave it!!
I don't know if I ever mentioned this to you, but when my daughters group recorded their album, they recorded in Buck Owens old studio. There was a vault right in the middle of the lounge that was wired directly to the Bakersfield PD, that if it was opened, they would immediately respond. I would love to see what all was in there!!

Buck was a local hero. When he died, it was BIG deal here, not only in the sense of his musical legacy, but he was a big businessman locally. He did a lot for this town, but he never lost that "good old boy" personality.
The Crystal Palace has the BEST Sunday brunch, yum!
Oh, funny tidbit, whenever any radio station in town changes formats, they will either play "Tiger by the Tail", or "Streets of Bakersfield" in loop until they make the switch-over!!
