I would like to see the inconsistency of preaching the body as a temple of the Holy Spirit.
Preaching that this and that is wrong to put into the body.
Then the same minister with a Cholesterol of 400 and weighing 300 lbs will pound the pulpit in anger against sin.
My comment is not a request to open the beer can or smoking.
I think the church needs to lose 30% of it's body weight before they start to preach anything regarding the temple...

They can hold the platform folks to pay their tithes and force them to abide by the standards. Or they lose their position.
They do not want to force the folks in the pew to abide by the standards.
Because then losing people in the pews will cost them money.

If you want to talk about the grand daddy of inconsistencies (in the UPC anyways) how about calling those who hold to preterism (whether full or part) a heretic while NOT saying a WORD about holy magic hair.
