It is my understanding that the term Pentecostal means belief in a supernatural enduement of power from the Holy Spirit and Charismatic means belief in the charisms or gifts of the Holy Spirit. In my opinion the two terms are basically synonymous.

They do not want to force the folks in the pew to abide by the standards.
Because then losing people in the pews will cost them money.

Neck,
I have to disagree with you here. We are more careful how we dress because we must set a better/higher example. Some people, off the streets or unlearned, don't know what to do, but they will follow your example.

That is understood. But you do not have to have your hair hanging to the floor to look presentable.c
It is more confusing for the folks coming in and seeing one thing looking forward and another side to side...

Re: Inconsistencies, Inconsistencies, Inconsistenc
People, please tell me how the first century Christians appeared different than their peers?
I sleep in sweats and a t-shirt. I have no probllem going to pick up a biscuit at the Golden Pantry in same.
I would not go out for an all-day shopping trip in same, but for me, there is a difference.

My comment is not a request to open the beer can or smoking.
I think the church needs to lose 30% of it's body weight before they start to preach anything regarding the temple...

Uh oh
he done quit preachin' and gone to meddlin'
