RR, I read his post again because of your response. There is an apology in there for hurting those close to him. But you're right, there is a martyr's defence in there as well and a condemnation toward others. It's an interesting post because it's a mix of many things.

I really can see the tugging going on with this portion of scripture. It's a final decision to be made and I do not blame anyone for taking care with it.
If you look at exousia and dunamis, the two words used for power in the NT, they have correlating words in their definitions - force, power, strength. Exousia even uses superhuman, which we want to say only belongs to dunamis.
Then you have "because of the angels" -" because of" meaning - through, by occasion of or by reason of. It's saying by "reason of the angels", "by occasion of the angels", "through the angels"........
It's very difficult to get a grasp of the full meaning. I say let them take care with it. It's better to take care than to bow to pressure to throw teachings out when you are not sure. Let God do the leading.......
I do not espouse attributing healing qualities nor salvational issues with the hair, but at the end of the day - in many aspects - it's a difficult passage!!!!

Yep, and reminds me of a few people.

Well, I can't say I got lost in it. I feel that if he had not been called out on his blog, he would have allowed it to stand. JMO.

I am sorry things may have not worked out for you in the Organization you left but organizations don't save people that is the Work of God to do when you choose to follow Him...God saves men and women and His Word becomes a lamp to light their path... God detests sin and a sinful lifestyle that is contrary to His Word... and some of what has been written and supported by those here who's spirit born out of bitterness and strife is producing and bearing children who claim love and truth but have believed a lie and are not living according to the very Words of God...
But it is recorded in His Word that this would happen and sad to say, imo, it is happening here...
My heart is as big as my head  ... and I weep for those that have either walked away from truth or have allowed themselves to be driven from it by the actions of man...
anyways.... I will remain praying that you guys make it back home someday... and as stated I wait by the Gate with our Heavenly Father looking for your return...
