Re: If Peter and Paul Visited General Conference

Paul to Peter "Knowest thou not what these doth sayeth? I knoweth not the sound of the voice!"

Peter to Paul "Surely they too speaketh in King James english only liketh us?"

Re: If Peter and Paul Visited General Conference

First of all, we'd need translators for them, but somehow, when the Spirit of the Lord starts to move, I think they won't need translators for those moments.

I think they would be AMAZED and they will GLORIFY GOD that the same Jesus they preached was still being preached today, with power and authority!

They would be proud!!!

They would feel compelled to shave for the sake of unity-- and they wouldn't complain about it.

Amen to that! That's the first good I have read in this thread. Maybe we should start to consider What would they say or think if they read some of things being written on here?

I can just imagine some of their comments!

"They don't even wear robes!"

"Look how form-fitting those suits are!"

"What's up with all of the screaming?"

"Their women aren't "silent" enough."

"Nobody offered to wash our feet."
They would not be granted admittance into the auditorium to hear their own words preached. I'm sure that they would not have that much money with them.

I have purposed that I will never go again since they have started charging a door fee. At every G.C. I would usually end up giving and spending anywhere from three hundred dollars to a thousand...even more on one or two occassions.

Peter, Paul and I would not be paying at the door or anywhere else for the show.

Re: If Peter and Paul Visited General Conference

Peter, why do women wear birds in their hair? Did I write that?

Paul, what you said was, in addition to wearing no jewelry, they shouldn't BRAID their hair, nor should they wear clothing. It seems they are reading only what they want to see...
