I don't think the walls Rev Wheeler wants to tear down and the walls you seem to want to tear down are the same thing. He wants to tear down walls that keep different Apostolic believing Brothers and Sisters from fellowshipping and working together to win the world.

Some would like to tear down the wall of standards and holiness and absolutes in the Bible so they can be carnal and backslid and no one will call it as such.

You know, I have to wonder what the men would think if it was proposed that men should start dressing like Jesus did and be saved 'for sure'.

I mean, you might be able to get to heaven in pants, but what if that's wrong? Better to be safe dressing in a robe. I'm sure God would provide a way for you to enter through the pearly gates when you are dressed like Him!! You'd be a shoo-in, men!!

Then we would have men in beards, men wearing robes, men in sandals and, oh the horror of it, men whose toes would be exposed!!!!

I think you are wrong. I called this brother and we talked about the standard issue-he said we wanted to see those walls fall down between those holding standards and those that do not.

I am not sure but are you purposing?Are you saying that those that do not hold standard like you do are carnal, backslide and do not hold bible absolutes? Well I most certainly disagree with that.

Depending on what the toes looked like (yes, there are butt-ugly toes out there. I have ten myself), that might be something that would make someone hellbound anyway!!!

I wish I could say that I'd listened to it, but I didn't. I can't do conference calls when I have other things going on here. I'm not exactly sure what to think of JT Wheeler either, since I know he's got a background that, while unclear, has something to do with Bill Price in some way spanning a few years.

Forgive me if I feel a bit hesitant. I don't really know the man, just his name.

As for what you said, we absolutely should base what we believe on scripture. Everything.

Seriously, I'd like to hear the men gripe about dress standards if preachers started advocating robes on men, even to the point of wearing them at all times in order to be in leadership.
