On both sides of the fence there are wrongs done and there are good people on both sides. The ministry is a challenging arena as some know, but God's people are good people and God's ministry is good. To judge all by a few is error.
Thanks for your guys' input, I have enjoyed it!

In all seriousness, preachers have one of the hardest jobs in the world. I come from a family of preachers, and as a young child I decided that I didn't want to marry one. I just couldn't handle all of the stress involved.

So your family was like mine, they thought they were the levitical priesthood in the 20th and 21st century.

There is wrong done on both sides. However, saints...especially newer ones, have not set themselves up as authorities and are more likley to react to hurt.

Sadly, most new converts give no problems at all. The are the easiest. New ministers on the other hand give much problems. Experience helps a minister.

It would be interesting to see why he thought that. Maybe because they lived off the tithes? Maybe because they had to set a few rules in the assembly? Maybe because they led the congregation in worship?
I would like to see the reasons he thought that.
One of the problems I have seen is this idea that a Minister run the church like a businessman runs his business. Big difference.

The people that gave us the most trouble had been in the church 30 years. Them and a previous pastor and a preacher that was about 70.
