My first job out of school was NOT my highest offer. I wanted to do what seemed fun (and whats more fun than making bombs!!). It was more money than I had ever made anyway so that didnt matter to me.

Secondly, she sounds like she is pretty grounded, but still encourage her to follow her heart, and not what she thinks everyone expects from her. That makes a difference too in how we plan our lives....especially when you KNOW people are "watching" you.

If she wants to chat (or if you do) I can email you my personal email addy. I can keep my ear to the ground about some summer opportunites if I hear of any and pass them your way. Most of the time they cost, but not always a lot. And some times there is scholarship money involved.
Thanks. I'll keep you posted.

If only there was a course in common sense. She seems to be lacking in this area, but I think that's typical for extremely intelligent people....LOL!

He studies and just passes the tests for all his core classes. I'm going to email him and see what that's called. He will have his Bachelor's by the time he's 20.
This is the email my aunt sent me:

It is www.collegeplus.org. Give them this code: "4808". If they sign up
using this code they will get $50 off their tuition.

CollegePlus is a coaching program only. You sign up yearly for coaching
(the first year price is the highest). The college they use is Thomas
Edison State College (TESC), located in New Jersey. TESC is
regionally-accredited, the highest.

CollegePlus keeps up with TESC's requirements and helps you study for
your tests, choose the right degree, study the appropriate tests for
that degree, and enroll in TESC. If you follow the test-taking schedule
of CollegePlus you should have that 4-year degree in 2 years.
He seems really happy with it. He studies 3-4 hours a day, but to have that degree out of the way? priceless. Sounds like your daughter's on the same timetable.
