Why do I think that outward appearance is so symptomatic of the whole bunch?

I know it's not fair to paint everyone with the same brush.

Not the WHOLE BUNCH, Sam, just a pretty large percentage.

7. Hair must be worn in a neat fashion. If you have cut your hair in the past and have been restored, your hair must be fixed to look uncut, if possible.

Appearances; it's all about appearances!!

Disclaimer: During my three years at ABI the ladies were permitted to wear their hair down for classes, church, whatever...it wasn't an issue. While I am sure the "elders" held to the UPC standards, it was not the focus ------at all.
Therefore we could fix our hair as we chose to, except for certain events!
a. picture in yearbook- hair had to be up
b. special guests/preachers in attendance--then we were requested to wear our hair up

Many students had long uncut hair to their backside; others trimmed the ends;and some had hair that was cut........we were all allowed to fellowship in spite of these differences.

I have so many things I want to say and have to refrain. Not against you though my dear friend.

If he is able to do this, I will pull a Chris Angel and email myself a message with a single word in the body. If he is able to "see" this single word, I will personally mail him a 100 bucks. Either cash hidden in an envelope or a check. His choice.

How's the work at the Children's Hospital coming along? I heard a radio ad for St. Jude's - ever been there? It's full of kids that could really use a "gift" or two. Anything you can give I'm sure would be greatly appreciated.
I see conviction fell upon you.
