I was not accusing in that post but affirming that it was what most thought all along.
As far as holding their feet to the fire, I think it is funny. Time always tells the truth.

(For those that say it is an organization (and it may indeed become one) because it has all of the same features i.e. youth, missions, etc............ so does the AWCF and other "fellowship" groups.)
Secondly in answer to those who say it is/was all about politics, I completely disagree! Having a very clear understanding of its structure such an accusation is unwarranted. From the choosing of the chairman (with exception of the initial chairman limited to 2 years)to the term limits, to the replacement process, all are by "lot" which eliminates politicking IMHO. Just doesn't sound like something power hungry people would set up.

As I said last year, the WPF does have some innovative and, I thought, very welcome changes their offering. Their statement on Oneness was a breath of fresh air.
But from what I know of some of the players personally I have been disappointed in their whole approach to breaking off and setting up their new gig. They have some things that would seem like there's a more open field, so to speak, politically. But it won't really have an effect for a generation or so - if it does have any effect at all.
I'm confused about the names of some of the committee members who appear as members of both org. Maybe the lists are not up to date? Maybe some "accommodations" have been made in some districts?

Honestly. Why do you think they are sending these magazines and announcments of their functions. Be honest now.
I still find it quite ironic the magazine of the WPF is called "Together". Funny, they were not practicing "togetherness" when they were in the UPCI, but now that they have pulled out, it seems they are saying, "can't we all just get along...OUR way"
If they really wanted to be "Together" they did not have to leave, and they can get "Together" and return, as no one prohibited them from teaching the rules they liked.

I recieved invites from AWCF and other groups including the UPC. The chairman of the AWCF is an ex-UPC as with Global. They had a song and dance on this forum about Suber and Phillips it just seems one-sided to me.

It's a rather glaring attempt at recruitment, IMHO. Given the way the WPF was first organized and the attending deception. And now, after 15 months of very little or no growth - they are "reaching out." Yeah.
I don't know what Global is (the KP thing?). You are a gentleman, Bro. (at least when you're not acting cranky on purpose). You've also found a way to successfully navigate the waters of Apostolicia without getting your hull full of holes. Many of us have other types of ties and life long allegiances that cause us to feel like we have to speak up at times rather than completely cut 'er loose.

I love it! Your language here is great! You sure you're not Irish like the mulligan Anglin, cause you got the gift of BLARNEY? Does Epley know that you just zipped him for being politically adept?

Re: Tulsa: A Description from a Coordinator of the
ALL organizations are political without exception. Again I do not belong to the WPF and have NO desire to join. But I don't see them recruiting anymore than the AWCF or Global. Of course I could be wrong. It might be more organized at doing it?

How do you preach for men outside the ACI/AMF? They are, or at least were, some of the hardest against preaching for Pagans! (Anyone differing from them on anything)
Didn't they come hard against J Alv... when he was chairman, for preaching for UPCI men? Then didn't they also beat up on D Mea... for having internet? How are you able to even stay with them, being on this evil thing like you are?

Your usage of "BLARNEY" here is a New World neologism and thus beneath the character and gaze of my Hyperborean ancestors.

It means that they can say whatever they want to, ie... "it;s not political and etc", but time is going to prove it one way or another! That's all.
