I bet it is. I cut mine off when I was 35 but it is now about 14 inches long. Half down my back. If I let it grow a couple years it would be right back down to my knees. I have so much hair. God is good.

I really dislike the roll right in the front. To me, it looks like they taped a toilet paper tube up there. I'm anxious for that one to go back out of style.

Most of the Pentecostal "do-s" come from current "prom styles" or "wedding styles". A lot of our girls get asked if they're going to the prom when they're out and about.

I can understand them asking if they are going to prom, but I honestly haven't seen ANY prom styles with those rolls! My DIL does a ton of hair for proms and she's never fixed one like that! LOL!

I've seen a few prom styles with barrel rolls. Here are a couple I found. Not as structured as Apostolics, but then they don't have as much hair to deal with either!

We had a slideshow at my dad's birthday party that had a picture of my mom's BIG huge 70's barrel curl hairdo. The ones that they would fix once a week, and then sleep in with a head-scarf tied on, ya know? The young girls *flipped out*! "HOW DID YOU DO THAT????"
