Re: Divine Modestee

Actually I think the board shorts and rash guards are cute, but some on here would not think those are modest either.

I don't mind wearing a modest bathing suit at the beach where I don't know anyone except my family. What I will not do is wear a bathing suit in front of anyone else (male) that I know. I just think there's a level of familiarity that's too intimate in swimsuits. It's just a personal conviction. At the beach with my family, TRUST ME, no one else is even looking at me or noticing me!!!

I agree--and it is nice when you can find tees and especially camisoles or tanks that have higher necklines.

Hannah and I searched numerous stores a few months back trying to find a tank to go under one of her dresses--trying to fill in a low neck, and the tank necklines were nearly as low! LOL!!!!

I agree that it seems more inappropriate/immodest with people you know than with strangers. That sounds a little odd, but I know what you're saying!

I agree. I don't have any hang ups on basic necklines and can handle v-necks or u-neck shirts but everything I see in the stores is really low cut.
Some styles just can't be filled in.

A single male co-worker approached me a few months ago with a ?---he wanted to know if ladies clothing had gotten more revealing. This is a 25 yr old who doesn't attend church and he is concerned with the way teenaged girls are dressing.

Try having to find clothes for an 8 year old girl. I am appalled at how "old" the clothes look!!!
