Aren't MOST church camps this way? What bothers me is that most of the attendees hold their heads up high thinking THEY aren't that way, while showing off all the latest fashions they bought for that very occasion.

C'mon SavedTeen. Frankly, I dunno if I'd want to go to a meeting with many of the folks who belly-ache about "clothes" and "money" at Youth Congress and youth camps.

My kids don't get huge allowances and their clothes are kind of (I hope!) stylish without being extravagant. And they're going for the worship, the music, the encouragement and the whole adventure of making a cross country trip; not to parade about. They have fun!

"I have to keep my head up..." gimme a break. The most revealing thing I ever see is maybe the knee bone of a twelve-year-old. Really, some of you all need to find some professional help.

Here, and I thought I was crazy... I'm afraid of what I'd do if I was wracked by torment over the knee cap of an adolescent stranger. Isn't there some kind of meds you can get for this?

Just responding to the "red carpet" atmosphere I have always seen at camps, not the modesty issues (of which I have never even given a thought to -I have yet to see a bathing suit at a UPC church camp after all).
