Seriously, Sandra. TFT and RJ save the UPC? If they are at the helm... I hope you're wearing a life-vest. Oh, and sit close to the little boats at the side of the ship. You may need to use one. Extra caution, they make a small splash when they are lowered to the water. Wouldn't wanna smear the paint.

Re: The UPC is a dying movement!

It isn't just the UPCI btw

There aren't many young men becoming catholic priests or young women taking orders to be nuns either.

Even in Apostolic Christianity how much is nothing more than an act?

Who wants to give their life to that?

22 years ago I had an experience that was real. I serve God today because of that and I KNOW.

IF i didn't have that and I had to rely on what I see today, I probably wouldn't bother.

But I am convinced of the truth.
Is this the great falling away?

I think that all over people are just sick of the charade.

Re: The UPC is a dying movement!

You know what is funny?

Here at the church I attend, all our ministers are younger men. All the older ones left because of different reasons. Our pastor enjoys working with the young ministers as they are not tied hard to a traditional mindset on how to have church. And they respond and listen to the call.

The church currently has three ordained ministers, all younger than 35, all preparing to pastor works somewhere!

We have young ministers and they all believe in Holiness.

We are getting ready to start a mission work in Mexico, with a younger minister.

There is hope, all is not lost, carried upon the shoulders of young, holiness, men of God!

That is so true. There are many young boiys and girls who are on fire. And in my experience they just want a move of God. They want to become disciples of Christ. They are following the kingdom not HQ!

I always laugh when people say that there are no more young people wanting to live for God or live holy! God will always have the young men and women who, like Moses, are going to forsake the pleasures of sin for a season to stay with God's people.

What it takes is a minister to preach a vision to them. They have to have something more tangible to believe in. But... if that happens the hungry young men and women will rise to the surface and answer the call. Happens every time!

PS - U3... your tape is on it's way!

The root of the problem is the heart. When your heart is unholy, your dress is unholy. You can tell a lot by how a person dresses and fixes their hair. I can spot a queer (or lesbian) in a matter of seconds based upon what I see they are wearing and how their hair is fixed.

These types of people are filled with anger also. Some are reading this with the hair on their neck already standing up, they need pray through to some good Holy Ghost convictions. Too think that someone would actually be interested in Holiness both inward and outward is foreign to most on this forum. So yes you are exactly right, the U.P.C. is dying. Until they get back to the Old Paths and start dressing right and get rid of Hollywood in their homes they will be DEAD. They are only a few elders away.
WOW great post and so very true

You sure hit every bullet point!

James Randi would give you a million dollars if you could do this under labratory conditions!

Define the Old Paths -of course when asked no one ever does because they can't. They are only a few elders away.
I missed this post earlier. Thank you Whole Hearted for quoting it.
