Using the Word is great, but to use it it in a way to hurt or cause wounds is taking the low road...hopefully you have more class than that. Context is everything! I hope I was just putting two and two together and came up with 5?

I don't know how else your response could have been taken. Renda says she "knows my heart" and you say the heart is deceitfully wicked. What does that sound like to you?

Sherri, I'm not directing this at your post, so please don't think that I am. I would have also read it the same way.
It's pretty common around here for people to just not think before they speak/post-- or just not care how they make other's feel when they make comments. That's pretty sad too, considering this is SUPPOSED to be a group of Christian people posting here. As I recall, the Bible says we will be held accountable for our words--- and many posts here make me sad because there are MANY people here who will have blood on their hands on judgment day because of the hurts they've caused others.

Re: Our First Kid's Camp
People speak in ways on message boards that they would never (hopefully) speak in person. Sometimes we forget that it's a real person on the other side of the screen, not just words that we're attacking.

I think you're absolutely right. For some reason, people feel free to be more opinionated on a board than if they were looking someone in the face.

Not me - I just exude the love wherever I am.
Back to your post... do you think that is why Pastor Cupples prefers teaching from a remote location? Because it's easier to enforce the list of "platform rules" with the benefit of distance?

Yes, actually this is a secret, but Pastor Cupples does not really exist. He is a hologram created by our staff. Shhh.........don't tell anyone.
