I have all three.

If I said that Osama bin laden was a terrorist would that be unholy because I stated the truth. A terrorist is a bad thing you know?

Narrow,

Just follow the rules and we'll all get along!

Rules of Conduct
This discussion board is for Apostolic Pentecostal Christians who believe that the Bible, in its entirety, is the Word of God, is without error, and that it is completely relevant today. We welcome and encourage visitors of other faiths to post and ask sincere questions in their honest search to learn more of our faith and about our wonderful Lord, Savior, and God whose name is Jesus Christ. We do not, however, give place for the tearing down, the disputing of, or destruction of, Apostolic doctrine, the Apostolic ministry, or the Christian faith in any form. The propagation of any doctrine that is contrary to the Apostolic doctrine is not welcome here.

We do not allow any rebuking, hatefulness, name calling, or verbal attacks by any person or group of people, toward any person or group of people. Content that is unseemly, using bad language, or any form of insinuating bad language (i.e. one letter and ****), or offensive slang, is not permitted.

This administration knows that God's Word allows for rebuking and correction under certain conditions, but because of the lack of understanding by some, as well as the differing views by a multitude of readers here, and for the sake of peace, we will not permit it under any circumstances.

Attitudes
Given this is an active forum, and we many times have heated discussions on various subjects, Admin will continually moderate the attitudes of the posts that are presented on AFF. As a rule of thumb...
Organizations can be discussed but not assaulted.
Posters can have disagreements but not bloodbaths.
Apostolic truth can be questioned but not be mocked.
Doctrinal absolutes can be queried but not criticized.
Admin can be contacted privately but not called out openly.
Standards can be debated but not minimized and disrespected.
Posts can be diametrically opposed but not diabolically attacking.
Concerns can be expressed freely but not just hurled and unrestricted.

Because our goal is for AFF to be a place where Liberal, Moderate, and Conservatives can peacefully co-exist, Admin reserves the right to ban any member at any time should they agree that any member's posting style, general attitude, or overall presence is causing a disruption on the forum as a whole.

Furthermore, as the ultimate success of this forum depends on the ability of posters to respect others, each individual poster must conduct themselves within the boundaries of decency and tolerance towards the doctrinal convictions, religious standards, and/or particular fellowship of their fellow posters. Persons blatantly violating these boundaries of decency and respect will be subject to being banned.

1 Chronicles 16:22 (King James Version)

Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

I would have to seriously take a look at my spirit, if I ever found myself so easily speaking against a man of God.

Brother I'm praying for you and I hope you find a place of repentence.

Scott,

Thank you. Your the only one who seemed to understand my post.

I thought I was just going to get some good messages, I had no idea that this attitude would be here.

God Bless.

I guess I never read this before. Quite shocking. On the one hand, no disputing of the Apostolic doctrine, and in the Attitude section, questioning (causing dispute) of doctrine is okay. I think we need to update these bylaws. There are several here that don't believe the Word of God is infallible. And what is "Apostolic Doctrine?" There are many here that are preaching Universalism and doctrine otherwise contrary to what most consider "Apostolic."

I'm comfortable with the forum how it is, but I guess I never realized this language was in the Code of Conduct.

Of course you do.

Osama bin Laden versus a man of God who has served the ministry of the saints his entire life? Gossip is not just about things that aren't true. Tearing someone down doesn't mean the allegations are lies. Phil 4:8 is a good practice.

Ideas not specific people.

Re: Bro Cole Messages

Speaking of Billy Cole, last year I read his autobiography titled “The Life and Ministry of Billy and Shirley Cole.” I’ve only heard the man preach a couple of times. My wife’s cousin and her husband pastor a church in West Virginia where his family used to pastor.

Billy Cole is quite a man of God. He has probably functioned in all 5 of the ministries of Ephesians 4:11 and most if not all of the gifts of 1 Corinthians 12 and Romans 12. Like all of us here, he is human.

In pages 210 to 217 of the book, Billy Cole has a section titled “My Heroes.” He says:
"I have had several heroes in my lifetime that deeply impacted me and greatly influenced my ministry. Every one of my heroes was a minister."

He starts out by telling about his Mother, then his father and then lists about 17 others.

One that he lists is T.D. Jakes. This is what he says about T.D. Jakes:
"Brother T.D. Jakes was a plumber and a preacher while he was in our fellowship in Charleston, West Virginia. It is phenomenal how he has become so influential today, so quickly. To the best of my knowledge, he has not compromised the message of the Oneness of God, water baptism in Jesus name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. We are proud that his children attended our church school, and that he and his wife were married in our church building. Some call him a compromiser, but in my opinion he is just full of wisdom regarding how to speak to people."

On pages 165-169 of his book, he speaks about the crusades and relationships in Ethiopia.

“For the next several years, we did back-to-back crusades in Papua New Guinea and Ethiopia, annually. The number that received the Holy Ghost in the Ethiopian crusade increased every year....

“The Ethiopian crusade kept growing and growing. One year, more that one million people were in attendance....
“Within a ten year period, close to one million people were filled with the Holy Ghost in these annual crusades, and their constituency grew from 250,000 to almost two million during the same period. The revival there continues, even though there are two small splits in their church work.

“Because of our harsh judgment towards Teklemarium, concerning the doctrine, Ethiopia chose to disfellowship us. To put it in simple terms, they are extremely Oneness, to the point of believing Mary was just a surrogate mother of Jesus. Nevertheless, they continue to grow. As of 2007, they are reporting 21 million constituents, not counting the two small groups that have split away. We are Pentecostal, but they are Apostolic, and because of that, we cannot understand one another.”
