Delta, I guess we'll just have to disagree on that. There's pride with both "self-controled" and dignified members and show-offs seeking attention.
I'm don't think it's pride that creates a desire to want to celebrate Jesus. It's culture, yes, but not pride. It takes a lot of courage to forget about everyone else and just have a good time, not caring what all the Judas Iscariot's are saying.

Do you want to clarify which Baptist churches you've been visiting? I know plenty of Baptists that represent quite the contrary.

I'm for praising The Lord and expressing one's self in Praise and yet I understand some people are more demonstrative than others,what I might do in praise another Christian might express themselves in a different fashion.

I can't judge another's spirituality if they express themselves in praise in a more quiet fashion,there is room for the demonstrative types and room for the quiet types.
The Bible says let everything that has breath to praise The Lord,so everybody should praise The Lord and express themselves in praise even if we don't all express ourselves in the same fashion.
